Precautions and Test Methods for Comprehensive Transformer Tester

Precautions for Comprehensive Transformer Tester:

1. The secondary coil of the current transformer should not have a grounding point.

2. Wiring and unwiring should only be done when the voltage regulator switch and output switch are in the off position.

3. The device should be reliably grounded before testing.

4. After completing the test, return to zero promptly. It is strictly prohibited to stay under high voltage or high current for extended periods.

5. Other untested windings of the current transformer should be short-circuited.

Test Methods for Volt-Ampere Characteristics:

1. The user should appropriately select the input voltage based on the volt-ampere characteristics of the tested equipment. When an output voltage above 500V is required, a 380V input voltage should be used.

2. Ground the instrument reliably.

3. Check that the current transformer has no grounding point.

4. Set switch "21" to the volt-ampere position.

5. Connect the AC output and voltage measurement of the instrument to the secondary side of the current transformer (as shown in Figure 2).

6. Check that the voltage regulator is at zero, turn on the power switch "11", press the reset button once, and the indicator light above it will illuminate, indicating that the microprocessor is in the waiting storage state.

7. Turn on the voltage regulator switch "7", slowly rotate the voltage regulator clockwise. When storage is needed, press the storage button once; the indicator light above the storage button will illuminate, and the internal buzzer will sound. (Note: During the entire measurement process, it is not allowed to turn the voltage regulator back; the dwell time when adjusting to high current should be as short as possible.)

8. Each measurement can store up to 20 sets of current and voltage values.

9. After storage is complete, return the voltage regulator to zero.
