Inspection Before Using the Single-Phase Relay Protection Tester

Inspection before using the single-phase relay protection tester:

The purpose of this inspection is to check whether the instrument is normal before first use or before each new use, in order to determine its working status. If the instrument is not normal, contact the manufacturer promptly.

During the inspection, the instrument should have no connection wires to external devices. The inspection steps are as follows:

1. Do not connect voltage or current to the voltage and current output terminals;

2. Check the instrument's appearance for damage, lift it to see if there are any abnormal sounds inside, and check whether the knobs, terminals, and screws are loose;

3. Turn the current and voltage adjustment knobs counterclockwise to the minimum;

4. Before using the single-phase relay protection tester, check the reliability of the power supply. Use a multimeter to measure the power supply voltage to avoid damage to the instrument due to working voltage exceeding the operating range;

5. Connect the instrument to a compliant AC power supply, close the main power switch, and the instrument will emit a warm-up prompt sound for about 15 seconds. After the sound stops, the instrument can be used.
