The measurement of DC resistance is a mandatory test item for inductive coils such as transformers, instrument transformers, reactors, and electromagnetic operating mechanisms during semi-finished and finished product factory tests, installation, commissioning tests, and preventive tests in power departments. It can effectively detect manufacturing defects such as material selection, welding, loose connections, missing strands, broken wires, and hidden dangers after operation. To meet the need for rapid measurement of DC resistance in inductive coils, our company has developed the Transformer DC Resistance Rapid Tester leveraging our technical advantages. This instrument adopts brand-new power supply technology and features small size, light weight, portability, large output current, wide range, digital display, and internal lithium battery power supply. The entire unit is controlled by a microcontroller, automatically performing self-check, data processing, display, and other functions, with automatic discharge and discharge indication functions. The instrument has high testing accuracy and is easy to operate, enabling rapid measurement of DC resistance.
Performance Features
1. The instrument has a large output current and is lightweight.
2. The instrument provides 6 output current selections, with a maximum output current of 10A.
3. The instrument has a wide measurement range of 0-50KΩ.
4. It has a comprehensive protection circuit for more reliable performance.
5. Powered by lithium-ion battery, convenient for on-site operation.
6. LCD menu prompts for easy operation.
7. Equipped with audible and LCD discharge indication alarms, providing clear discharge indicators to reduce misoperation.
Safety Measures
1. Be sure to read this manual carefully before using this instrument.
2. The operator of the instrument should have general knowledge of electrical equipment or instruments.
3. This instrument can be used indoors and outdoors, but should avoid places with rain, corrosive gases, excessive dust, high temperature, direct sunlight, etc. The instrument should avoid severe vibration.
4. Maintenance, care, and adjustment of the instrument should be performed by professionals.
5. After testing, be sure to wait until the discharge alarm sound stops before turning off the power and removing the test leads.
6. When measuring no-load tap-changing transformers, be sure to wait until the discharge indication alarm sound stops before switching gears.
7. During the test, it is prohibited to move the test clamps and the power supply lines.
