DC high voltage generator (often referred to as "DC high voltage generator") is a core instrument used in power systems to test the insulation performance of high-voltage electrical equipment. Its main function is to convert power frequency AC into high-stability, low-ripple DC high voltage, specifically for withstand voltage tests and leakage current tests on equipment with large capacitance characteristics (such as long cables and generators).
Compared to traditional power frequency withstand voltage tests, the DC high voltage generator is smaller in size, lighter in weight, and can more effectively detect penetrating defects such as insulation moisture and contamination.
