Operating Instructions
-
First, determine the marking gauge. To adjust the distance, loosen the fixing screws on both sides of the marking assembly. Move the cone rod sleeve to the left end for 10mm, or to the right end for 5mm, then tighten the fixing screws. -
Lift the cone rod lifting handle, place the steel bar directly into the V-groove (with the straight edge of the deformed bar facing up) and secure it firmly.
Note: Lift the cone rod with your left hand and move the lifting handle to the left with your right hand to avoid excessive force that could damage the machine.
-
Lower the handle, turn the handwheel to lower the cone rod to the lowest point. Adjust the height adjustment handle so that the steel cone contacts the steel bar, then continue to lower it by 1-2mm. Do not lower it too much; ensure there is sufficient allowance for the cone head to penetrate the steel bar during marking. -
Lift the handle, turn the handle counterclockwise to move the marking assembly to the far left. -
Lower the cone rod, rotate the handle clockwise at a uniform speed until the marking assembly reaches the far right. -
Lift the cone rod, loosen the steel bar fixing screw, remove the steel bar, and marking is complete.
