Classification

Electric steel bar gauge

Manual steel bar gauge

Continuous steel bar gauge

Aliases: Steel bar printer | Steel bar marking machine | Multi-point steel bar gauge | Electric gauge | Manual gauge

Instructions

1. First determine the gauge length. To adjust the gauge length, loosen the fixing screws on both sides of the printing assembly by 5 mm, then tighten the screws.

2. Lift the cone rod lifting handle, straighten the steel bar and place it into the V-shaped groove (with the straight edge of the deformed bar facing up), then tighten it securely.

3. Lower the handle and rotate the small wheel on the left end to bring the cone rod to its lowest position. Adjust the height adjustment handle so that the cone tip contacts the steel bar, then continue lowering by 1–2 mm to ensure sufficient penetration allowance for the cone head.

4. Lift the handle, connect the power supply, switch the direction switch to the left travel position, and turn on the power switch. The power indicator light will illuminate. If the printing assembly is in the middle position, the working indicator light will also illuminate, and the printing assembly will travel to the far left and stop automatically, with the working indicator light turning off.

5. Lower the cone rod, switch the direction switch to the right travel position, press the right travel button, and after the motor runs normally, release the button. The printing assembly will travel to the far right and stop automatically.

6. Lift the cone rod, loosen the fixing screws, and remove the steel bar. The marking process is complete.

7. Switch the direction switch to the left travel position again, press the left travel button, and after the motor runs, release the button. The printing assembly will travel to the far left and stop automatically, maintaining readiness for the next operation.

Maintenance and Care

1. The steel bar gauge must be reliably grounded before use.

2. When moving left, the cone rod must be lifted, and the operation must strictly follow the operating instructions. Incorrect operation will damage the motor and electrical components.

3. Keep this instrument clean at all times and store it in a dry place.

4. Regularly apply lubricating oil to the sliding parts of the steel bar gauge.
