Precautions for testing with insulating oil volume resistivity tester:
1. The housing of the insulating oil volume resistivity tester should be properly grounded. It is forbidden to conduct tests without grounding.
2. During testing, the outer electrode of the oil cup and the heating element carry a voltage of 500 volts. Do not touch them to avoid electric shock. Also, do not touch the ground to prevent high voltage short circuits that could damage the instrument. It is strictly forbidden to unplug the measuring head when not in the "discharge" state.
3. Keep the oil cup and heating element clean and dry at all times.
4. Each oil cup should not be tested more than three times repeatedly. When retesting the same oil sample, it is necessary to "discharge" for more than five minutes before testing again.
5. After use, restore the switch positions on the panel to their original positions, then disconnect the power supply and store the instrument properly.
6. When setting the constant temperature value of the insulating oil volume resistivity tester, it should be done before powering on the instrument. Remember that when the constant temperature value is zero, the heater does not work.
