Testing Method:

● First turn on the power and let the instrument perform automatic calibration for about five minutes;

● First connect one end of the intake pipe to the instrument and close the flow regulating valve; then connect the other end of the intake pipe to the device under test;

● Open the flow regulating valve and adjust to about 0.6~0.7L/min;

● The measurement is completed automatically within a few minutes (the first sample takes about ten minutes, subsequent continuous detection usually only takes 2-5 minutes, if conversion is needed please refer to data conversion), press the storage key to save data, repeatedly press the display key to view historical data;

● For continuous measurement, do not turn off the instrument power, just repeat the above steps, which can greatly save measurement time;

● After use, be sure to turn off the power to protect the instrument battery;

Data Conversion

When the ambient temperature is higher than 20℃, if the instrument test value is greater than the standard value (the allowable moisture content of SF6 equipment at 20℃ specified by national standards), it is necessary to convert the measured value to the data at 20℃. The method is as follows:

● When the measured gas temperature is stable, set the K value to +0.5 in the measurement parameter menu under the settings menu, then the measured value of the instrument is the data at 20℃.

● When the measured gas temperature is very unstable, wait until the measured value of the instrument is stable, then set the K value to +0.5, at this time the displayed value of the instrument is the data at 20℃.

● When the ambient temperature is lower than 20℃ or the measured value is lower than the standard value when the ambient temperature is higher than 20℃, conversion is generally not needed, and the K value should be 0.
