1. High precision and accurate measurement. Both voltage and current meters are digital displays, with voltage resolution of 0.1kV and current resolution of 1uA. The voltmeter on the control box directly displays the voltage applied to the load test object, eliminating the need for an external voltage divider and simplifying wiring. The instrument can measure leakage current at both high and low voltage ends. The high voltage end uses a circular shielded digital meter display, which is resistant to discharge impact and has good anti-interference performance, making it suitable for field use.
2. Added a high-precision 75% VDC-1mA function, bringing great convenience to zinc oxide arrester measurements. A simple press and no calculation needed. The control box has a 75% voltage function key. During arrester tests, when the current rises to 1000uA, press the 0.75UDC--1mA button. The values displayed on the voltmeter and ammeter are then the 75% data. After completion, immediately return the voltage regulator potentiometer to zero, and immediately press the green button to cut off the high voltage and turn off the power switch. Then proceed with other tests.
3. Utilizes advanced technology and manufacturing processes, pioneering the application of the latest PWM medium-frequency pulse width modulation technology and pulse train logic array modulation, employing high-power IGBT devices and large voltage feedback, resulting in higher stability of the output high voltage and smaller ripple coefficient.
4. Negative polarity output, zero-start, continuously adjustable, with various protection functions such as overvoltage, overcurrent, return-to-zero, grounding protection, and unique disconnection protection. The automatic protection circuit is powerful, with comprehensive and reliable protection, ensuring safe operation. All technical indicators are superior to industry standards.
5. Convenient overvoltage setting function, using digital thumbwheel switches to display the set voltage value intuitively, making operation more flexible. The displayed value unit is kV.
The indicator lights, switches, knobs, etc. on the control box are clearly marked. Please refer to the component names on the control box panel when reading these operating instructions.
On the side of the high-voltage tower chassis, there is a seven-pin socket for connecting the control box cable. On the side of the chassis, there is a copper binding post for connecting the ground wire.
The included high-voltage shielded microammeter is a digital microammeter. The jack on the top of the meter is for connecting the test object's wire and also serves as the power switch. When not in use, unplug the plug to automatically turn off the power. To replace the battery, open the screws on the top cover. After replacement, close the cover and tighten the screws. For the flat round meter, open the back cover to replace the battery.
1. Connect the grounding terminal on the control box panel to the grounding terminal on the high-voltage tower using a ground wire, and securely connect to the ground wire of the site or laboratory. To ensure the safety of you and the equipment, please repeatedly check the ground wire to ensure all grounding is good.
Use the provided seven-core cable to connect the control box and the high-voltage tower. Both ends of the cable have the same quick aviation plugs. Note that the notch on the side of the plug should align with the thick convex part inside the socket, insert, and turn clockwise to tighten. (Either end of the cable can be connected to the control box or the high-voltage tower.) Connect the power cord; the power supply is single-phase AC 220V, 50Hz.
2. Turn on the power switch. At this time, the power switch light (green) and the panel meters light up. The high-voltage indicator light (green) will be on. If the high-voltage warning buzzer is in the on position, it will sound to alert the operator that high voltage is being applied. At this point, turn the high-voltage output adjustment knob clockwise to increase the voltage. The voltmeter displays the voltage KV value on the load test object, and the ammeter displays the sum of the current flowing through the test object and all leakage currents, excluding the current of the built-in high-voltage divider. The current is displayed in microamperes (uA).
If the power switch is turned on, the high-voltage indicator light (green) does not light up, and the "return to zero" fault light (red) is on, it indicates that the high-voltage output adjustment knob is not in the zero position. Turn this knob counterclockwise to the "zero" position, and return the fine voltage adjustment knob to zero. The "return to zero" light will go off, and then turn clockwise to increase the voltage.
3. If overvoltage protection within the rated output voltage range is not required, turn the overvoltage protection setting knob clockwise to the maximum value. At this time, when the output voltage exceeds the rated output voltage, automatic protection will activate and cut off the high voltage. If overvoltage protection within the rated output voltage range is required, follow the above steps to increase the voltage under no load to the predetermined protection voltage, then slowly turn the overvoltage protection setting knob counterclockwise to the desired voltage. When overvoltage protection activates, the "overvoltage" indicator light will be on. Keep the overvoltage protection setting knob in this position, return the voltage increase knob to zero, and turn off the power. After connecting the test object, any future voltage increase exceeding the predetermined voltage will automatically cut off the high voltage.
The ZGF digital DC high voltage generator complies with the ZBF24003-90 "General Technical Conditions for Portable DC High Voltage Generators" standard, and has been verified by Zhongshi High-Voltage Electrical Co., Ltd. and the National Testing Center of the National Electric Power Department, strictly implementing legal standards to ensure the safety of users of DC high voltage generators.
