Ground Grid Earth Resistance Tester

Introduction;

Currently, in the power system, large ground grid earth resistance testers mainly adopt the power frequency high current three-pole method for measurement. In order to prevent power frequency interference during grid operation and improve the accuracy of measurement results, the insulation preventive test regulations stipulate that the test current for the power frequency high current method must not be less than 30A. As a result, problems such as bulky test equipment, complex test procedures, high labor intensity for test personnel, and long test duration have emerged.

The large ground grid earth resistance tester adopts a new type of variable frequency AC power supply, and incorporates measures such as microprocessor control and signal processing, which effectively solves the anti-interference problem during the testing process, simplifies the test operation process, improves the accuracy and precision of test results, and greatly reduces the labor intensity and test cost for test personnel.

The large ground grid earth resistance tester is suitable for measuring the power frequency grounding impedance, contact voltage, step voltage, and other power frequency characteristic parameters of various grounding devices, as well as soil resistivity. It can measure substation ground grids (4Ω), thermal and hydro power plants, microwave stations (10Ω), and lightning rods (10Ω), making it a versatile model.

The large ground grid earth resistance tester adopts heterodyne anti-interference technology, which can accurately measure data at power frequency 50Hz under strong interference environments. The maximum test current is 5A, which will not cause excessive potential rise of the grounding device during testing. At the same time, it has strong anti-interference capability, so measurement can be carried out without power outage.
