On July 1st, the Tianjin Electric Research Institute's "July 1st" celebration and "Striving for Excellence" summary and commendation conference was grandly held in the multifunctional hall of the industrial base. A total of more than 300 people attended the meeting, including all party members, league members, activists applying for party membership, middle-level and above leading cadres, and representatives of retired veteran comrades. Wang Hai, Director of the Organization Department of the Municipal Science and Technology Commission Party Committee, and Wang Lili, Vice Chairman of the Municipal Science and Technology Trade Union, attended the meeting. The conference was presided over by Deputy Party Secretary Liu Guolin.
After the majestic "National Anthem" was sung, the ceremony for new party members to take the oath and old party members to review the oath of joining the party officially began. Under the leadership of the staff of the Party Committee Work Department, all party members raised their right fists and solemnly swore an oath facing the party flag, with loud and powerful voices. In the upsurge of learning and education on "Two Studies, One Action" with the theme of "Practicing the second entrepreneurship, implementing strategic measures, and seeking quality development", new and old party members made or reviewed their vows under the party flag, with the aim of not failing their mission and keeping their promises.
After the oath-taking ceremony, the conference commended the "Advanced Party Branch", "Outstanding Party Affairs Workers", and "Outstanding Communist Party Members". The Party Branch of the Intelligent Equipment Research Institute won the title of "Advanced Party Branch"; Comrades Lu Lin and Jin Fuyou won the title of "Outstanding Party Affairs Workers"; and 13 comrades including Wang Yang and Liu Juan won the title of "Outstanding Communist Party Members". Deputy Party Secretary Liu Guolin announced the commendation decision, and the company's leadership team successively presented awards to the advanced collectives and outstanding individuals.
Party Secretary Zhang Xiaobin delivered an important speech. He required everyone to closely combine the learning and education of "Two Studies, One Action" with the company's business development work, seriously implement the various deployments and requirements of Sinomach Group, the Party Committee of the Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and the company's party committee, focus on the center, serve the overall situation, and provide a strong political and organizational guarantee for the company's reform and development. He called on all employees to strengthen their ideals and beliefs, always achieve the "Four Talks and Four Haves", transform the enthusiasm for learning from advanced models and striving to be advanced into the driving force and source of work, based on their positions, work hard, stay true to the original aspiration, and continue to move forward, making due contributions to the company's sound and rapid development.
The conference also held a staff literary and artistic performance to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Party, with rich and colorful programs such as chorus, instrumental performance, and dance, showcasing the firm confidence, consensus, responsibility, and spiritual outlook of the company's staff in the new journey of the "13th Five-Year Plan".
