Quality Identification Methods for Dielectric Loss Tester

1. Insulated wire

First, determine whether the high-voltage wire of the instrument can be dragged on the ground, and whether a dedicated high-voltage socket is used (this relates to whether the junction between the high-voltage lead and the instrument is live).Insulating oil dielectric loss testerThen drag the wire to the ground for testing, place some foam fragments beside the wire, and observe whether there is a high-voltage corona sound and whether the foam and dust beside the wire jump.

    2. Output capacity

Find a capacitor of 30000pF-40000pF (the withstand voltage must meet the requirements), set the instrument output voltage to 10KV, then test. The instrument should not show any abnormal phenomena, and the capacitance value should be accurate.

    3. Test accuracy

Users can check the accuracy with a standard capacitor. If conditions are not available, it can be judged from multiple aspects such as the repeatability of the instrument and the consistency between positive and reverse connections.

    4. Repeatability test

Use a bushing or other small-capacity test object, use the positive connection method without grounding for testing, and the deviation of multiple test data should not be greater than 0.001 (0.10%).

    5. Positive and reverse connection consistency test

Ground one end of the above test object, and the deviation between the test data of the reverse connection method and the positive connection method should not be greater than 0.001 (0.10%).

    6. Anti-interference test

Bring the above test object to a site with strong interference, test with and without the anti-interference function, and observe the changes.
