The dotting machine, also known as the continuous marking machine, is used for marking points on round steel, flat steel, steel pipes, section steel, and other non-ferrous metal materials for tensile test samples.
Technical Requirements
Each shake can produce 41 marking points. The distance between points is 10mm, with an error not exceeding ±0.15mm. The total length is available in 300mm and 400mm marking point versions. It is made of ball bearing round steel with a hardness not lower than RC55.
Usage Instructions
Printing 10mm spacing
When in use, place the sample material into the (sample seat) slot, and adjust the screw nut seat according to the length of the sample material. Adjust the length and the diameter of the round material by moving the sample seat. Loosen the fixing screw on the sample seat to move it forward or backward. Align the center of the diameter according to the material requirements, then use your left hand to pull the handle downward until the marking point contacts the sample material, and slightly tighten it. Use your right hand to turn the handle (clockwise) one full turn to complete the marking.
Printing 5mm spacing
To print 5mm spacing, first print 10mm spacing, then gently push the screw handle with your left hand to shift the sample by 5mm. Continue printing once more, and after printing, remove the sample.
Precautions
1. Keep the two columns and the punch head well lubricated to ensure smooth and flexible operation.
2. Be careful not to damage the punch head to avoid losing accuracy, which may render the equipment unusable.
Advantages
Precise construction, easy to use, high efficiency, accurate marking, and easy to inspect and repair.
